Therapies

The Johansen Individualised Auditory Stimulation (JIAS) programme is for children and adults who experience difficulties with effective listening and comprehension. Detailed audiometric assessments map out the functionality of the ears and specially composed music is technically arranged to suit the stimulation of the individual's auditory processing system. Johansen IAS is the only form of sound therapy that individualises the music for the client's requirements and allows them to listen at home.

The Johansen Alpha for Schools is a classroom-based programme for Nursery and Reception age children to calm them and improve their attention, concentration and understanding of the school routines for learning.

Kinesiology reveals underlying structural and emotional stressors via the body’s unique mechanism of bio-feedback through muscle response. This therapy was developed by a group of chiropractors and doctors in the 1970s when fascination about their clients' emotional responses during treatments, led them to research oriental medicine and the energetic healing techniques of various cultures around the world. Their accumulated findings were structured into a new therapy called Kinesiology, which fuses western and eastern knowledge of the workings of mind and body.
